It's generally agreed that over the years examinations have got easier. Whether it's the GCSE or the A-Level, the pass rates are always rising, and the suspicions about them always growing.
There is one exam, however, which has definitely not been dumbed down. Year on year it gets tougher, and very few pass it without a re-sit. And those who have passed it will freely admit that the whole thing has become much more exacting than in their day.See the full content of this document
