After the huge success of its two talent-spotting shows, Musicality and Operatunity, Channel 4 is devoting the third in the series to dance - with the involvement of the Birmingham Royal Ballet and all four West Midlands councils - Sandwell, Dudley, Birmingham and Wolverhampton.
In a tremendously ambitious project, the idea this time is not to find a Billy Elliot or single out individual talents, but to get 300 young people aged between 15and 18 involved. Helping choose the youngsters will be the charity Youth at Risk, a group dedicated to helping disadvantaged youngsters. But alongside them, the project, titled Leaps and Bounds, is out to recruit 300 voluntary adult life coaches to help the youngsters on a one-to-one basis.See the full content of this document
