Thousands of Australians in Britain are set to vote over the next two weeks for their country's general election - a contest which could eventually put at risk the Queen's job as their head of state.
The opposition Labor Party is led by Kevin Rudd, who supports switching to a republic. It has been suggested that, if he wins, a fresh referendum on the issue could be called by 2010.See the full content of this document
