Summary
More than half (55 per cent) of businesses in the West Midlands are confident about their prospects over the coming year compared with the previous 12 months -according to the Institute of Chartered Accountants/Alliance and Leicester Commercial Bank Business Confidence Monitor. However, despite the generally optimistic outlook in the West Midlands, confidence levels are below the UK average. This was the result of the latest survey of more than 1,000 chartered accountants working in business.
