The Birmingham Insurance Institute was established in 1887 and is now the second largest local branch of the Chartered Insurance Institute, second to London, with nearly 3000 members.
This year's dinner was attended by 221 people among the guests on the top table were the Lord Mayor of Birmingham, The Bishop of Birmingham and the President of the Chartered Insurance Institute as well as local Institute Presidents from the insurance market, brokers, securities, law society and financial services. The dinner, which was again a huge success, was organised by dinner secretary Derek Lamb of Thompson & Bryan, loss assessors, and concluded with a charity casino night.See the full content of this document
