Vague produced a massively improved performance to take second at Royal Ascot at York last month and should have tremendous claims of going one place better at Sandown today Jeremy Noseda's filly was only beaten by high-class stablemate La Chunga and finished well to take the runner-up spot at 50-1.
She had earlier defeated the useful Mixed Blessing in a good maiden at Pontefract and deserves another shot in the Listed BT Challenge Star Stakes at the Esher track.
