Home Repossession Orders Are Falling Despite Rise in Jobless

The number of people threatened with losing their home has fallen, in a sign that the effects of the recession on homeowners may be easing.

County courts in Birmingham, Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire issued 4,555 repossession orders over 12 months - down 20 per cent compared to a year ago.
