A rural restaurant all but destroyed by racist vandals reopens today after a pounds 30,000 refit. Thugs ripped down the ceiling, broke chairs and daubed National Front slogans across the walls in curry paste last October at the Shezan restaurant in Lea Marston near Coleshill.

Owner Guy Breeden and manager Mohammed Razakh vowed to have the restaurant open 'better and stronger' within weeks.
