As the climax of the organisation's tenth annual course, Sunday's concert from the National Schools' Symphony Orchestra (which, despite its title, seems to contain few members from bog-standard comprehensives) drew a large number of parents and friends to support the youngsters.
There was much to reward them in a well-constructed programme which gave every section its own showcase - but much, too, which I hope might benefit from kindly, well-intentioned advice.See the full content of this document
