A collaboration between South Asian arts agency Sampad and theatre-in-health specialists Women in Theatre, Un-Kahi (Unspoken) is an unusual experiment in non-verbal theatre.

The pioneer film director D.W.Griffith may seem an unlikely model, but even if his influence was not acknowledged in the programme you could not fail to register the silent cinema references, with each of the show's distinct segments introduced by a projected chapter heading such as "A Visitor" or "The Crisis".
