Robert Huff capped his rapid rise to the top with his first British Touring Car Championship victory at Brands Hatch.
Huff won his drive in the BTCC as his prize for taking the Seat Cupra Championship last season. The Cambridge-born driver is part of a Seat team also making their debut in the series and has scored podium positions and battled with the championship's biggest stars. Yesterday he went one better with a dramatic victory in the third race. A late safety car period left the race result hinging on a last-lap restart and Huff held his nerve as team-mate Jason Plato was shoved out of the lead by Honda's Matt Neal. Huff saw off reigning champion Yvan Muller to win from Plato with Vauxhall youngster Michael Bentwood a career-best third.See the full content of this document
