'Actors always have certain characters they think they should play. Most people think it is Hamlet I think it is Sherlock Holmes,' admits Rupert Everett, who gets his wish on Boxing Day when he plays the legendary 'tec in The Case of the Silk Stocking He certainly looks the part.
