Magistrates have lifted a ban on identifying a police officer who is charged with knocking down a Birmingham schoolgirl in his car.
Sadie Stevens, aged 12, (left) lost her right leg in a collision with an unmarked police car driven by Pc James Hibbert on the A34 in Newtown on February 7. Pc Hibbert (39), from West Midlands Police, is charged with driving without due care and attention.
