Hector Sam has become the second Trinidadian in three days to join Richard Money's Walsall revolution after signing a one-year deal with a second year's option.

The 28-year-old, who joins compatriot Clayton Ince at the Bescot Stadium, has impressed during a trial spell and yesterday chose Walsall ahead of several other suitors. A lively striker, who possesses undoubted talent and ability, Sam was signed by Wrexham for pounds 125,000 from San Juan Jabloteh during the summer of 2000 and immediately became a firm favourite among the supporters of the Welsh club.
