Marco Botti has chosen to aim his stable star, Sesmen, at the French 1000 Guineas on May 13.

A winner of the Prestige Stakes at Goodwood as a two-year-old, she was a close sixth to Majestic Roi in the Fred Darling Stakes at Newbury on her seasonal reappearance and Botti believes she would be suited better by Longchamp than attempting the Newmarket equivalent this weekend.
