Recruitment firm Michael Page International (MPI), which last month rejected a bid approach from rival Adecco, has reported a 14.6 per cent increase in third-quarter gross profit but warned the UK jobs market is slowing.
The group, which has 170 offices - including several in the West Midlands - in 28 countries, said third-quarter gross profit rose to pounds 141.4 million, reflecting strong overseas growth.
