A teenage climber was in intensive care yesterday after being airlifted off a mountain in Snowdonia.

The 17-year-old, from Worcestershire, was in a group of four when he fell and was injured on the Tryfan peak on Saturday. He was carried 1,000 feet down the mountain before being winched off.
