Summary
Another academic year is drawing to its close. It must be because I'm shattered. I have never understood how tiredness can accumulate over a long spell, always believing that a good night's (or weekend's) sleep returns me to the mental alertness of the terminus ante quem non, as we antiquarians say, or early September, in other words.
But with a fanfare of exam boards and final dissertations, this year's cohort of history students exit from Newman and head towards pastures new.
