Sport Media Group, which publishes the Sunday Sport and Daily Sport newspapers, has appointed former Emap Metro managing director Barry McIlheney as editor-in-chief.
Andrew Fickling, executive director of Sport Media, yesterday said: "Barry has a proven track record of creating significant circulation uplift, particularly in the men's publishing arena.
