Two Oxford University students are facing a pounds 500 fine and a one-year suspension after carrying out an investigation into the university IT system's security for a student newspaper, it emerged yesterday.
Patrick Foster and Roger Waite, both aged 20, were able to see footage from one college's CCTV system and fellow students' email passwords using software they found using internet search engine Google.
