Sulphur Dioxide in the Classroom ; Accident

Summary


A teacher suffered minor injuries and pupils needed medical treatment for breathing difficulties yesterday after a sulphur dioxide canister went off in a classroom.

Three classmates were taken to hospital "as a precautionary measure", said police, and paramedics set up a treatment room after pupils at St George's College of Technology, in Sleaford, Lincs, complained of breathing problems.
