Six Nations Championship starting debutant Scott Lawson is determined to take his chance for Scotland after being surprised to be selected for the match against Wales at the Millennium Stadium on Sunday.

The 24-year-old hooker will replace Dougie Hall who was viewed as a weak link in the team which defeated France 20-16 at Murrayfield last Sunday when a number of line-out throws did not reach a Scottish jumper.
