Birmingham legend Desmond Douglas has been enlisted to help unearth the next generation of players in the Midlands' first table tennis academy.
Former European champion Douglas will be head coach when the new academy, based at Sutton Coldfield College's sixth-form centre and aimed at boys and girls aged 16 to 19, becomes only the third such table tennis centre of excellence in the country in September.See the full content of this document
