Terror fears have prompted people to stay in Britain and boosted business for Hotel Du Vin and Malmaison chains, it has been revealed.

Malmaison group chief executive Robert Cook said: "The six months to December 31 has started well with recent international events encouraging more people to spend more leisure time in the UK rather than travelling aboard."
