Summary
April 1 is known as All Fools' Day. I used to love trying to think of ideas in which to fool my parents and friends. But all had to be carried out by 12.00 noon, or the joker became the fool. On one such incident when I was about sixteen years old. I with two of my friends decided that we would turn up at school with bandages on our arms. The story being that we had fallen out of a tree. How daft can you get?
Lies are commonplace these days. Politicians seem to be expert at them. I do not believe a word any of them say. Promises that are vain and empty have little joy for any of us. April Fools' Day does not happen once a year these days, it happens all the time. Though I do believe we are not the fools the politicians would like to think we are.
