Summary
Most of us do not pray regularly but only pray to God when we are in trouble, asking for this or that. We should not feel ashamed to ask God for petty things as we can either ask worldly people or go directly to God, who is our father, our mother, our true parent and we are His children. Why must we hesitate in asking anything from our mother or father? To whom else can a child return?
Yet a stage comes when we realise that what we are asking for is not worth having and we learn to ask for what is really worth having which is the God Himself. This is the beauty of the life of prayer that you start with praying for whatever you desire and you find that in the bargain your level of consciousness keeps on rising.See the full content of this document
