Summary


Three employees with Central Trains exploited a weakness in the ticket-selling system to give themselves first class tickets.

The men took the opportunity, at the expense of their company, to "live it up" by travelling around the country in comfort visiting tourist spots, Birmingham Crown Court was told. As a result of the scam Central Trains were left out of pocket to the tune of almost pounds 73,000.
