More than 2,000 jobs will be lost as a result of Ford's decision to end production at Jaguar's Browns Lane plant in Coventry, union leaders told MPs yesterday.
Giving evidence to a House of Commons inquiry, they also warned that Britain could stop building Jaguar cars entirely, with production going to the US.
