Engineering group Unitech Industries has completed the takeover of a fellow Midland manufacturer in an undisclosed deal.
The Burntwood-based firm, which specialises in bespoke stainless steel food processing equipment, has taken over Walsall-based Driver Southall, manufacturers of sophisticated electronic check weighing systems. Driver Southall can trace its history back to over a century - during which time it was owned by W & T Averys and GEC. For the past 20 years, its owners have been Bob Allison and Diane York, who will remain directors of the company within the Unitech Group.See the full content of this document
