Warwickshire estate agents Newey Property and Malcolm Hawkesford have launched a new joint venture selling investment opportunities in Spain's property hot spots. The agents, both independents, have established New Horizons after working together for more than a year selling investment properties and second homes in Spain. Michael Barnwell, managing director of Newey Property in Kenilworth, said southern Spain was much sought after by investors with its high rents and double-figure capital growth.
'Investors just cannot find the high yields they want in the UK any more but those who have invested in Spain are already enjoying substantial capital growth and expect excellent returns from renting their properties in the future.' Liz Freeman, sales manager for New Horizons, claimed a surge in interest brought about by such factors as investment potential, affordability, the ease of access to local airports, low fares, the Mediterranean climate and activities.See the full content of this document
