People whose homes were covered by white flakes from a nearby cement factory earlier this year are still waiting to find out exactly what the particles were.
Residents of Long Lawford, in Warwickshire, were concerned when the flakes fell on their properties from the chimneys of nearby Rugby Cement Ltd at the end of May. At a meeting of Rugby Community Forum, representatives from the cement company reassured residents that the dust was made up of chalk and clay but said an analysis was still to be produced by the Environment Agency.See the full content of this document
