UK meat and by-products could face rejection beyond the EU following the latest foot-and-mouth outbreak, insurance broker Aon has warned.
The broker, which has an office in Birmingham, has advised beef exporters to reconfirm orders before shipping cargo to prevent unexpected costs, such as redirecting and relabelling, if their meat is rejected.
