Anyone travelling in and out of the country to or from a non-EU destination, whether on business or for pleasure, may be hampered by new cash declaration requirements, warns accountancy firm Grant Thornton.
EU Regulation 1889/2005 has just come into force in the UK and requires travellers in or out of the country to declare cash or its equivalent if the sum being carried is greater than 10,000 euros (pounds 6,711).See the full content of this document
