Government's Web of Madness Spawns As Many As 2,500 Internet Sites ; Politics

The quality of Government websites has improved only slightly in the past six years, and one in six has become "significantly worse", according to a report released today.

After "10 years of unco-ordinated growth", the Government does not know how many sites it operates, and estimates suggest it could be as many as 2,500, said the House of Commons Public Accounts Committee.
