Wellington, last year's champions, lead the Premier Division of the Birmingham League after an eight-wicket rout at Coventry and North Warwickshire on Saturday. They dismissed the home team for only 82 in 33.1 overs, opening bowlers Anthony O'Connor and Nick Clewley taking five wickets apiece, before needing only 23 overs to reach their target.
Knowle & Dorridge are in second place, 11 points behind Wellington and one ahead of Himley, after obtaining a winning draw at Halesowen.
