Summary
Dear Editor, It is with concern I note the state of what is probably the second oldest public house in Birmingham City centre, still in its original location.
The Fox and Grapes on the corner of Freeman Street and Park Street is Grade II-listed and probably dates from the late 17th or early 18th century. It was to be preserved as part of the City Park Gate development, but nothing seems to have happened with this development, no doubt due to the recession and the possibility of a new high speed rail station being constructed in the vicinity.See the full content of this document
